Starting fresh in Hampshire's green and pleasant land lie's Southampton a very industrial city amongst the rest. As the year went on I soon realised that Southampton have a booming music scene compared to what I am used too and soon I started getting involved with the scene using the culture as a catalyst to gain publicity for my brand.

Working with the likes of Speaking Of Witches we managed to help each other and pull some surprises out of the hat along the way starting up Rittz Clothing's very first music project called 'Rittz Live Records' bringing local talent from the city to the big screen, styling them with our season's clothing range and then filming for our new youtube channel.

Spiralling into a whirlwind of crazed musicians Rittz started putting on show's for bigger names such as Strange Bones / White Room / Avalanche Party / Deltorers and so on, including pop up shops and some free tee's for the bands Rittz soon started to tour alongside, clothing wise of course.

Running the look over the U.K and parts of Europe was a privilege, proud that the bands where happy to represent what they felt deserved some extra special attention.

Never the less the shows that I wanted to inspire by putting on some crunchy tunes and a wicked sense of clothing paid off in a slightly different way than anticipated, so we decided to start slow rather than burnt out too fast, this way attending instead of funding shows would have a similar more positive financial effect on the brand.
